Refund & cancellation policy

What you are paying for
A Jinseva subscription buys one rescue organisation access to the platform for a fixed term — one month at ₹1,200, or one year at ₹12,000, plus 18% GST. The current figures are always on the pricing page.
Cancelling
You can stop using the service at any time. A subscription runs to the end of the term you paid for and simply does not renew — there is no notice period and no cancellation charge. Nothing is auto-charged at the end of a term without a fresh payment.
Refunds
Subscription fees for a term already begun are generally non-refundable, because the service is delivered continuously across the term. We will, however, refund in these situations:
- Duplicate payment. If the same term was paid for twice, the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Payment taken without access. If a payment succeeded but your organisation was not activated, we will either activate it or refund it in full, whichever you prefer.
- Charged in error. Any amount charged in error, or beyond the plan you selected, is refunded in full.
- Prolonged outage. If the platform is unavailable for an extended period through our fault, we will extend your term or refund the affected portion.
Failed and pending payments
A subscription is granted only once the payment is confirmed by Razorpay. If money left your account but access was not granted, the payment was most likely authorised rather than captured, and it is normally released by your bank automatically. Raise it from your dashboard with the payment reference and we will reconcile it.
How to request a refund
Raise the request from inside your dashboard, quoting the invoice number and the payment reference. We aim to respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay and typically reach the account within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
GST on refunds
Where a refund is made, any GST charged on the refunded amount is reversed with it and a credit note is issued against the original tax invoice.
What happens to your data
Ending a subscription does not delete your data. The dashboard becomes unreachable until the subscription is renewed, while the public case tracker stays open so members of the public who reported animals can still find out what happened to them. Export your case data to CSV before your term ends if you want your own copy — the export is on the reports page. Deletion requests are handled as described in the privacy policy.
The free resources are unaffected
The helpline directory and the rescue guides are free to everyone and are not part of any subscription. Nothing on this page applies to them.
