For rescue organisations
Everything Jinseva does
Short answer
01
Taking the call
A rescue call arrives however the caller finds you. All three routes land in the same case list.
Register a case in seconds
Species, area, call type, caller details and location. Your volunteers log a case from the dashboard on a phone while still standing at the scene.
24×7 WhatsApp chatbot
A menu-driven bot answers public rescue enquiries around the clock, registers cases, and lets a caller track one — with the menu, wording and replies all editable by you.
Public self-service link
Share your own rescue link. Members of the public register a case themselves, verified by an OTP, without anyone answering the phone.
Duplicate detection
If the same case is reported twice while still pending, the system spots it instead of dispatching two volunteers to one bird.
Repeat-caller address fill
Someone who has called before gets their previous address filled in automatically, which is the slowest part of taking a call by phone.
Optional rescue photos
Let callers attach a photo so the responder knows what they are walking into. Photos are relayed to WhatsApp and then discarded — never stored in the database.
02
Getting it to a volunteer
The gap between a call being logged and a volunteer knowing about it is where rescues are lost.
Auto-alert to your team group
The moment a case is saved it is posted to your WhatsApp team group, formatted from a template you control.
Instant caller acknowledgement
The caller gets an immediate confirmation that their report reached a real team, which is the difference between one call and three.
Assign volunteers
Attach one or more volunteers to a case, filtered by the area they cover, and see who is carrying what.
Statuses you define
Build your own case statuses to match how your team actually works, each with the message the caller receives when a case reaches it.
Auto data entry from group replies
When volunteers reply in the WhatsApp group with what happened, matching replies can update the case status without anyone opening the dashboard.
Daily summary and reminders
A scheduled daily report to your group, plus reminders about cases still sitting pending.
03
Closing the loop
A case is not finished when the bird is collected. It is finished when it is recorded.
Public case tracker
Callers check what happened to the animal they reported, using their case reference, without needing an account.
Deliberately restrained messaging
A caller receives at most two WhatsApp messages ever — the registration acknowledgement and one status update. Rescue groups get blocked for doing more.
Message outbox
Every message the system sent, with its outcome — sent, failed or skipped — so a message that did not arrive is visible rather than assumed.
Reports and leaderboards
Area-by-species and area-by-status breakdowns, plus volunteer and reporter leaderboards over any date range.
CSV export
Export your case data whenever you want it — for a trustee report, a grant application or your own records.
04
Running the organisation
Each NGO is a separate tenant with its own URL, its own people and its own settings.
Your own branded space
Your organisation runs on its own path with your name, logo and colour, plus a public landing page and a donation QR code.
Phone-and-password login
Volunteers sign in with their mobile number. A forgotten password is reset with a six-digit code sent over WhatsApp.
Per-person permissions
Grant adding cases, editing cases or full admin individually. Someone with no permissions still gets a read-only history of their own cases.
Bulk volunteer import
Import your volunteer roster straight from an existing WhatsApp group rather than typing in dozens of numbers.
Strict tenant isolation
Cases, volunteers, messages and invoices are scoped to your NGO on the server. Another organisation on the platform sees your public profile and nothing else.
Questions
About the product
Does Jinseva need a separate WhatsApp Business API account?
No. Your NGO links its own WhatsApp device to the platform, and alerts to your team group and messages to callers go out from that number.
Can we change the wording of the messages sent to callers?
Yes. The team-group alert, the caller acknowledgement and the message attached to each case status are all templates you edit yourself, and each status you create carries its own caller message.
How many messages does a caller receive?
At most two: one acknowledging that the case was registered, and one status update. This limit is deliberate — rescue groups that message more get reported and blocked.
Are rescue photos stored?
No. When a caller attaches a photo it is relayed to WhatsApp so the responder can see the situation, then discarded. It is never written to the database.
Can another NGO on the platform see our cases?
No. Cases, volunteers, messages and invoices are scoped to your organisation on the server, not merely hidden in the interface. Other organisations see only your public profile.
Can we export our data?
Yes. Case data exports to CSV from the reports page over any date range you choose.
Run a rescue organisation?
Jinseva gives your NGO its own case dashboard, volunteer roster and WhatsApp automation, so a rescue call becomes a tracked case in seconds.
